How It Works

We cast a chart from the exact minute and place of a birth, read it against a corpus of dated lives, and publish what holds up. This page covers where the data comes from and what we will not say.

Method

How We Read the Sky

A chart is calculated from the same planetary positions astronomers publish, computed the moment a birth time and place are entered. Nothing is rounded to a date, because the ascendant moves about one degree every four minutes.

  1. 01The chart is cast from the celestial positions at that exact minute, in that exact place
  2. 02The ascendant sets the house frame, and the chart ruler follows from it
  3. 03The Sage reads the result in context and answers questions about it

Sources

Where the Birth Data Comes From

Birth times for public figures trace back to Astro-Databank in almost every case, which means two citations are often the same record quoted twice. Wikidata is the one genuinely independent source we hold, and we say which one a chart rests on. Where a birth time is missing we leave the angles and houses blank rather than casting a noon chart and presenting the guess as a reading.

Limits

What We Will Not Say

There is no good or bad here. No auspicious days, no warnings, no fate. A transit is information, and information is what helps you decide. We also do not claim a chart caused anything that happened in someone's life. A placement and an event can sit side by side without one causing the other, and saying so honestly is the only way the research is worth reading.

Standard

How a Finding Gets Published

A claim is tested against every chart in the corpus that qualifies, and the count ships with it, misses included. If it only holds on the examples we picked, it does not go out.

Reading

The Sage

The Sage is briefed on your whole chart rather than your sun sign, and remembers what you have already discussed.

Ask about a transit, a relationship, or a decision you are weighing, and the answer comes back in the context of your actual placements.

  • Knows your chart, not your sun sign
  • Remembers every conversation you have had
  • Available the moment the question comes up

Ownership

Your Charts Stay Yours

Charts you create are private by default. A chart you keep for someone else is yours, and nothing is published unless you publish it.
