Who was Steve Jobs?
Steve Jobs co-founded Apple in April 1976, was forced out of the company in 1985, and returned in 1997 to lead it through the iPod, iPhone and iPad. The decade away produced NeXT and, through Pixar, a second career in animation. His return reversed Apple's decline and set the direction of consumer technology for the following twenty years. He died in October 2011, aged 56.
